Japan-Mongolia Summit Meeting and Other Events…
29 November 2022. Japan. Tokyo. Prime Minister Kishida held a summit meeting and other events with H.E. Mr. Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia, at the Prime Minister’s Office. The two leaders attended a salute and guard of honor ceremony, followed by a summit meeting. The leaders then held a signing ceremony and a joint press announcement.

30 November 2022. Japan. Tokyo. H.E. Mr. Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia, who was in Japan at the invitation of the Government, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. HOSODA Hiroyuki, Speaker of the House, and Mr. KAIEDA Banri, Vice-Speaker. Speaker Hosoda began by welcoming President Khurelsukh to Japan. He then expressed hope that this year’s 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Mongolia will help further deepen parliamentary exchange between the two countries. President Khurelsukh responded by offering his appreciation for the reception. He also called Japan one of the closest partners of his country, adding that the development of bilateral relations with Japan is a top priority on Mongolia’s foreign policy agenda. They also exchanged views on exchange on a personal level, energy issues and the regional situation.
