Minister meets the IMF resident representative
Finance Minister Mr.B.Javkhlan today has received Mr.Yoon SeokHyun, the Resident representative of the International Monetary Fund.
The Minister of Finance has briefed about current economy, fiscal and financial condition and the Government policies and exchanged views on the recently approved “MNT 10 trillion Comprehensive plan for Health protection and Economic recovery”.
Mr.Yoon, the Resident representative of the IMF has thanked the Minister for receiving him on his first working day after his quarantine and has congratulated for his appointment as the Finance Minister. Furthermore, Mr.Yoon has extended his readiness to support the Comprehensive plan announced by the Government.
Parties have underlined the 30th Anniversary of Mongolia’s membership in the International Monetary Fund, being marked in this year of 2021 and expressed their shared commitment to preserve the achievements from the “Extended Fund Facility” program jointly implemented and to closely cooperate for successful implementation of the Government policies.
